I've been living in a desert for the past couple of months so comming to this place was a welcome change for the day.
If your ever in the southern part of California, feel free to check out the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, it will take you up to this place at the top of a mountain. Infact just that trip in the cable car through a rocky canyon a mile into the sky was amazing in it's own right. To soar past massive outcroppings of rock hundreds of feet high as the desert valley in the distance came into view over the side of the canyon, it was breath taking.
